Moseño

Moseño is a beautiful instrument. It has an incredible personality. People call it in different ways, and this is a subject to discuss. Some call it Moxeño, some call it Mohoceño. It can be played in large groups using different sizes of moseño. The sound depends on wind intensity and on the way the musician plays it.

The big sizes are played in a tranversal way, and have an added cane on its side which lets the air flow. Moseños of these sizes have a grave sound, tender, special for moments of contemplation.
