Pi Lao Noi is a name given to a popular airophonic instrument with free-vibrated reed of Thai minority in the Northwest. Pi Lao Noi is made from a hornless bamboo tube of 35 to 40 cm length and 0.6 cm diameter. The tube is closed with node at one end. Right at the node, a rectangular piece of 2.6cm x 0.4cm dimension is splitted off but still connected with the body at one small side.
